​​Why can we see our breath when it’s cold outdoors?

Sometimes when you breathe outside in cold weather, you can make your own cloud! As the water vapor in your breath mixes with the cold air outside, it starts to condense. The vapor turns into tiny water droplets in its liquid form and hangs in the air in the form of a small cloud.
